Winter Festival 2014

Homer’s 2014 Winter Fest was another success! The weekend was filled with ghost tours, ice sculpture contests, human dog sled racing, children’s activities, entertainers, and lots of yummy food! 
Many Homer High School students volunteered throughout the weekend. Shakespearean Society accompanied Mr. Sweeney on the ghost tours Friday night. Government students and National Honors Society members helped Saturday morning with the children’s activities. They ran games, passed out tickets, made crafts, and painted faces. On Saturday night, National Honors Society brought baked goods to the volleyball tournament and managed the food sales.
