Thank you to everyone who donated books for Youth and Government’s “Read to Lead” service learning project. Before the club members distribute the books to areas that were hit by Hurricane Sandy, they will be making handmade bookmarks for all of the books. Highlighting the importance of reading and education, these bookmarks will personalize the gifts and aim to make reading a meaningful and enjoyable experience for the young children.
Youth and Government would love your help! The group will be making these bookmarks on Thursday, April 18th in Ms. Giordano’s room. Stop by ninth period to add your creativity and support the students! All are welcome!
