SADD Movie Night

SADD is holding its 9th annual Movie Night on October 17th at 7 p.m. at the Homer High School. SADD will be showing the movie, Cloverfield in the High School’s library. The admission is $2 and those over the age of 13 are welcome. There will also be candy, popcorn, and drinks for sale at the event. SADD does many events throughout October to provide alternative activities for teens at Homer High School as part of their OKsoberfest, which raises alcohol safety awareness.
Cloverfield is a 2008 Science-Fiction Action movie directed by Matt Reeves. The movie is filmed in a “found footage” style and focuses on a small group of people who are caught in New York City in the midst of an unexpected monster attack. They are forced to fight for their lives with danger lurking around every corner and are desperate to escape the city before it is too late.
